Welcome to StaySafe Scan ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application StaySafe Scan (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Personal Information

We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

The App is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not:

• Collect your name, email, or contact information
• Track your identity or create user profiles
• Store your location data
• Access your contacts, photos, or files
• Collect any personally identifiable information (PII)

1.2 Sensor Data

The App accesses the following device sensors only during active scanning:

WiFi Scanner:

• Scans available WiFi networks in your vicinity
• Reads network names (SSIDs), signal strength, and MAC addresses
• This data is processed locally on your device and never transmitted

Bluetooth Scanner:

• Detects nearby Bluetooth devices
• Reads device names, MAC addresses, and signal strength
• This data is processed locally on your device and never transmitted

Magnetometer:

• Measures magnetic field strength
• Detects electromagnetic anomalies
• This data is processed locally on your device and never transmitted

Camera:

• Captures images to detect lens reflections
• Images are analyzed in real-time and never saved or transmitted

Location:

• Required by iOS and Android for WiFi scanning (system requirement)
• We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your location
• Location permission is used only to enable WiFi scanning functionality

IMPORTANT: All sensor data is:

• Processed entirely on your device
• Never stored permanently
• Never transmitted to our servers or third parties
• Deleted immediately after scanning stops

1.3 Technical Information

We do NOT collect any technical information such as:

• Device model or operating system
• App usage statistics
• Crash reports or analytics
• IP addresses

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

2.1 Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information for advertising purposes, including:

• Advertising ID (a unique, user-resettable ID for advertising)
• Device information (device model, OS version)
• Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
• General location (country/region, not precise location)

AdMob's Data Collection:

• AdMob collects data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy
• You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
• AdMob does NOT receive any data from our App's scanning features

2.2 No Other Third-Party Services

We do NOT use any other third-party services, including:

• Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Crash reporting services
• Cloud storage services
• Social media integrations
• Payment processors

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Since we do not collect personal information, we do not use your data for any purpose.

The App's sole purpose is to:

• Analyze sensor data locally on your device
• Display detection results to you in real-time
• Help you identify potential hidden cameras

All processing happens on your device and results are shown only to you.

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

• We do NOT store any data.
• No data is saved to our servers
• No data is saved to cloud storage
• Sensor readings are processed in real-time and discarded immediately
• No scanning history is kept
• No user accounts or profiles are created

On Your Device:

• The App may temporarily cache data in device memory during active scanning
• This data is automatically cleared when you stop scanning or close the App
• You can clear all App data at any time through your device settings

5. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties.

The only exception is Google AdMob, which operates independently and collects data as described in Section 2.1.

• We will never sell your data to advertisers or data brokers
• We will never share your data with other apps or services
• We will not provide your data to government agencies (except as required by law)
• We will not use your data for marketing purposes

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us immediately at walidsoussidev@gmail.com.

Age Restrictions:

• Users must be 13 years or older
• Users under 18 should obtain parental consent

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

7.1 Data Access and Control

Since we do not collect or store your data, there is no data to access, modify, or delete.

7.2 Permissions Control

You have full control over the App's permissions:

• iOS: Settings > StaySafe Scan > Permissions
• Android: Settings > Apps > StaySafe Scan > Permissions

You can revoke any permission at any time. Note that revoking permissions may limit the App's functionality:

• Without WiFi permission: WiFi scanning will not work
• Without Bluetooth permission: Bluetooth scanning will not work
• Without Camera permission: Lens detection will not work
• Without Location permission: WiFi scanning will not work (system requirement)

7.3 Advertising Choices

• iOS: Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Limit Ad Tracking
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization

7.4 Uninstalling the App

You can delete the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. This will remove all App data from your device.

8. DATA SECURITY

We take security seriously, even though we don't collect data:

Security Measures:

• All processing happens locally on your device
• No data transmission to external servers
• No cloud storage or backups
• App uses secure coding practices
• Regular security updates

Your Responsibility:

• Keep your device secure with a passcode/biometric lock
• Only download the App from official stores (App Store, Google Play)
• Keep the App updated to the latest version

9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Since we do not collect or transmit any data, there are no international data transfers.

Google AdMob may transfer data internationally as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

11. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)

The App is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee:

• Detection accuracy
• Absence of false positives/negatives
• Compatibility with all devices
